Hello

           I'm a born and raised in Santa Clarita, a proud UC Irvine graduate, and the founder of Sunshine Soda Co. I graduated in 2023 with a degree in Education Sciences, and I've been an instructor at Kumon since I was 17 years old. Teaching has always been a huge part of who I am, and I love helping students build confidence, grow, and reach goals they never thought possible.

          I'm also the oldest of three siblings, with one younger sister and one younger brother. Growing up, I was always the one planning activities, keeping everyone entertained, and finding ways to make people smile. Looking back, I think that's where my love for bringing people together really began.

          Family is at the center of everything I do. I've been with my fiancé since I was 20 years old, and together we've built a life filled with the people (and pets!) we love most. We have four dogs—three of whom technically belong to my fiancé, though they might disagree—and they are a huge part of our family. In fact, don't be surprised if you spot a few drinks on the menu inspired by them someday.

 

          I've always loved staying active and taking care of my health, but I also have a serious sweet tooth. Like many people, I love a fun treat but don't always love the extra sugar and calories that come with it. That's what sparked the idea behind Sunshine Soda Co. I wanted to create drinks that felt fun, indulgent, and exciting while still fitting into a balanced lifestyle. Many of our drinks are low-calorie, low-sugar, and some are even sugar-free, so you can enjoy something delicious without the guilt.

          What started as a love for creative drink combinations quickly turned into a dream of building something special for our community. I wanted Sunshine Soda Co. to be more than just a drink stand—I wanted it to be a place that feels welcoming, cheerful, and full of the little moments that make life sweeter.

           Every drink on our menu is carefully crafted with flavors I genuinely love, from refreshing classics to seasonal favorites inspired by sunshine-filled days. My goal is simple: to create drinks that make people smile and experiences they'll want to share with friends and family.

When I'm not dreaming up new flavor combinations, you'll usually find me teaching, spending time with family, hanging out with our dogs, getting in a workout, or enjoying everything our Santa Clarita community has to offer.
